48. Aston Martin Lagonda

You are probably way too young to remember, but for those who remember the 70s as if it were yesterday’s school dance where they grabbed their crush by the hand and led them to the floor to dance Disco, you may remember the razor-like design of the Lagonda. Unfortunately, the makers of the car clearly missed the gap between their ambition and its performance. The vehicle was a team’s attempt to push the limits of what a car could accomplish with the new technology of that day. The displays were all CRT based instead of the traditional gauges and the electronics were run by computers. Unfortunately, none of these advancements worked, resulting in a pretty worthless and technologically inept vehicle.
