HOWIE LONG AND DIANE ADDONIZIO – 37 YEARS
Howie Long, a retired Football League superstar, has spent the entire 13 years playing for Oakland/Los Angeles Raiders in a Defensive end position. His career highlights include a Super Bowl (XVIII) champion, 8x Pro Bowl, 3x First-team All Pro, 2x Second-team All Pro, 1985 Defensive Player of the Year, and NFL 1980’s All-Decade Team.
After he retired, he pursued an acting and broadcasting career and is now working as an analyst for Fox Sports’ NFL coverage.
Howie and Diane met at Villanova while studying their major in Classical Studies and during that period, Howie was a year senior to Diane. He fell deeply in love with her and they eventually got into relationship. They got married in 1982 and through the years, they are still very much in love with each other. Nothing on earth could come between them indeed!
